I think each time I do an 8 bit avatar of some type, I'll post a corresponding enlarged 8 bit pic. This was actually based on the area just outside Suwon Air Base, ROK. I used a photo and crudely reconstructed it all as 8-bit as I could, and I did another sprite version of myself equipped with a small dagger of some sort to fit the RPG mood I wanted to give off. I wanted my sprite to look as close to Ragnar from DQ4 as possible, and I think I did a good job at that (see for yourself if need be !)
Not much else to say really. Oh right right, this is my first successful animated GIF! **pat on back, cry of shame**
How does this fare for a "life photo to 8-bit" conversion? Moreover, does this look "8-bit" enough? Any suggestions? Anything? Thanks in advance! I'm kinda trying to bone up on 8 bit graphics because I have an interest in Videogame Design ^_^'
